fig. § Legal
Terms of Use
Last updated November 5, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of archiveindustry.com and the websites we host for you (“the Service”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you agree on its behalf.
Your account
You are responsible for your login details and for everything done with your account. Tell us straight away at support@archiveindustry.com if you think someone else has access.
Your content
You keep all rights to the work you upload. You give us a limited licence to store, copy and display it only so we can run your site and the Service. You confirm you have the rights to everything you publish.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service for anything unlawful, to infringe others’ rights, to distribute malware or spam, or in a way that degrades the Service for other members. We may suspend sites that do.
Selling from your site
Archive Industry doesn’t sell anything for you or take payments on your site. When you sell work through your site, the sale is between you and your buyer, through the checkout you link to (such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, Etsy or Shopify) and under that provider’s terms. You’re responsible for your prices, payments, taxes, shipping, returns and what your site shows as sold, and for following the laws that apply to your sales.
Your visitors
Messages sent through your site’s contact form, and answers to forms you add to it (such as Google Forms), come to you. You’re responsible for how you use them. Only add people to a mailing list if they asked to be added.
Plans, billing and trials
Each site has its own plan, billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Free trials convert to the plan you chose unless you cancel before the trial ends. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
Cancellation
You can cancel a site at any time from My Account; it stays online until the end of the period you’ve paid for. You can export your content before then. We may close accounts that break these terms.
Availability and liability
We work hard to keep the Service online and backed up, but provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll tell you about significant changes by email or in My Account before they take effect.
